Recyclables Collection:
PLEASE NOTE:
Due to popular demand, we will be continuing our Recyclables Collection. Please bring any of the following items to be properly disposed of:
- Aluminum Cans - we will begin collecting aluminum cans to be turned for reimbursement to benefit the Rockwall County Democratic Party
- Household Batteries - please no car batteries at this time! Please limit this to single use or rechargable household batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, etc...)
- Compact Fluorescent Lightbulbs - we know they last much longer than regular bulbs, but they contain mercury and therefore need to be disposed of properly... bring your burnt out CFLs and we will do just that!
- Paper - Office paper, newspaper, household paper... we'll take it all, just please be sure to keep your personal information out of the stack!
- Cell Phones - bring your old cell phones and we will recycle them for you and keep those harmful chemicals and metals out of our landfills!
- Eyeglasses - bring your old eyeglasses and we will help bring sight to people in need!
- Plastic Grocery Bags - bring in your plastic grocery bags and we'll recycle them for you - please consider using reusable bags from now on so that you can reduce your plastic grocery bag collection in the future!
