RCDP & RCYD Christmas Party

Join the Rockwall County Democratic Party and the Rockwall County Young Democrats as we celebrate the Holidays with our Democratic Family!

When: Monday, December 21, 2009 - 6:30 - 9:00 PM
Where: Community Center, Harry Myers Park - 816 E Washington, Rockwall, TX

The event is a potluck dinner.  Please bring your favorite family Holiday dish to share with your Democratic family.  It will be an evening of celebration as we look back over the year and look ahead to 2010!

Congratulations to RCYD!

The Rockwall County Democratic Party would like to congratulate the Rockwall County Young Democrats on their nomination for the Stonewall Democrats of Dallas Allied Group of the Year award!

RCYD has worked closely with the Stonewall Democrats of Dallas, as well as with other Equality-minded groups in North Texas, in their efforts to spread the message of Equality. We are proud of the work that our Young Democrats have done in North Texas and we wish them the best of luck at the awards ceremony!

Please consider showing your support for RCYD and the Stonewall Democrats of Dallas by attending the Stonewall Democrats' Annual Holiday Party on Monday, December 7, 2009, where the awards will be handed out!

The Officers and Board Members of Stonewall Democrats
invite you to join us tomorrow evening,

Monday, Dec. 7th from 7 to 9 pm
at the Round-Up Saloon located at
3912 Cedar Springs Road
for our Annual Holiday Party.

There will be food, cash bar, drag performances, and of course our Holiday Basket Auction and lots of Democratic camaraderie.

We will also announce and present our 2009 Awards.

Awards and Nominees this year are as follows:

Allied Group of the Year: and the nominees are...
Rockwall County Young Democrats, Dallas Stonewall Young Democrats, and Equality Texas.

Pink Pump Award: and the nominees are...
Lynn Cherry, Elizabeth Crowder and Larry Duncan.

We also want to remind you that we have adopted the Legacy Counseling Center & Founders Cottage.

Legacy has been providing mental health care, substance abuse treatment, special care housing, and hospice care for people challenged with HIV/AIDS in the Dallas area for 20 years.

The following is a list of items needed:
Paper towels, Scrubbing Bubbles, diaper wipes, light bulbs, Gatorade/Kool-Aid, toilet paper, granulated sugar packets, non-dairy creamer packets, 9 once plastic cups, trash bags-all sizes, copy paper, stamps, liquid paper, latex gloves-S,M,L, personal sized snack packs, soft drinks, Adult non pull-up diapers.
Of course checks made out to Legacy Counseling are welcome if you would like to make a cash donation rather than bring an item.

The Officers and Board of Stonewall Democrats would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our Members, and our Elected Officials for your ongoing support throughout the year and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow evening!
