RCDP Action Alert!!
Healthcare Town Hall Meeting
 
When:     Wednesday, May 27, 2009
               7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Where:    Rockwall High School Cafeteria, 901 Yellow Jacket Lane, Rockwall, TX 75189
 
Everyone is urged to attend this "Town Hall" meeting sponsored by the DFW Associations of Health Underwriters (The Insurance Companies) entitled "Americanize US Health Care Not Socialize”.
 
Congressman Ralph Hall will be the Guest of Honor and Opening Speaker.  Please see the meeting announcement at the DAHU website for information on the other speakers, including someone who "lived in Canada".
 

The Liberty University College Democrats...

"Today Liberty University in Lynchburg shut down their chapter of the Young Democrats, citing the pro-life, pro-equality stances of the national Democratic Party. Students continuing to use Liberty facilities and its name are subject to formal reprimands from the school. These reprimands can lead to expulsion..."

Local Farmer's Markets...

Just wanted everyone to be aware that we now have (at least!) TWO Farmer's Markets in Rockwall County!
 
The Downtown Square City of Rockwall Farmer's Market opened back up last week and will be open every Saturday from 8am to noon in the Rockwall Downtown Square.  For more information, check out the City of Rockwall's Happening Now section of their website - you'll find other interesting things planned for the near future there as well!

All are welcome and a free continental breakfast will be provided.

Recyclables Collection:
 
PLEASE NOTE:
Due to popular demand, we will be continuing our Recyclables Collection. Please bring any of the following items to be properly disposed of:
 
- Aluminum Cans - we will begin collecting aluminum cans to be turned for reimbursement to benefit the Rockwall County Democratic Party
- Household Batteries - please no car batteries at this time! Please limit this to single use or rechargable household batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, etc...)
